System Briefs

System Briefs provide information about star systems that are useful for interstellar travel. These travel documents provide information on the physical layout of the system, such as quantity and location of planetary bodies and satellites, location of 0.0001 g-gradient (threshold), and 0.1 g-gradient (discharge points). Only limited information on settlement and cultural make-up is provided. Much of this information is non-canon, and each brief identifies official sources used and referenced.

The Core consists of only two systems - Sol and Alpha Centauri.

The American Arm consists of five colonized worlds and several outposts in other systems. The American Arm and the Chinese Arm share a common beginning from the Core, moving through Barnard's Star, Serurier, and Broward before branching. Although the American Arm proper begins at Clarkesstar, systems from Barnard's Star onward will be included for completeness.

The Chinese Arm and the American Arm share a common beginning from the Core, moving through Barnard's Star, Serurier, and Broward before branching. Although the Chinese Arm proper begins at DM-26 12026, systems from Barnard's Star onward will be included for completeness.

The French Arm consists of twelve colonized worlds and numerous outposts in other systems. The French Arm beginnings at Nyotekundu, one system out from Sol in the Core.The French Arm also connects to Pentapod Space, the Kafer Sphere, and the DM+17 2611 Cluster.

Pentapod Space is a branch area of the French Arm that is home to the race known as Pentapods. This branch begings at Ross 627, which is one system out from the French outpost at DM+27 28217. Little is known about this part of space.

The Kafer Spere is a branch area of the French Arm that is home to an agressive race known as Kafers. This branch begins a trio of systems beyond Arcturus. Little is known about this part of space as the Kafers are openly hostile to humanity.

The DM+17 2611 Cluster is a branch of the French Arm that begins at the DM+17 2611 system. It is accessible from two systems in the French Arm proper - Eta Bootis and DM+18 2776. Little is known about this part of space.
