The Picardie-class CG is the predecessor of the French Suffren-class cruiser and has been completely replaced in front line service with France. The few members of the class that remain with the Imperial French Navy have been relegated to reserve and training formations. The remaining hulls have scraped or sold off to other nations. Anzania purchased one unit, the Artois, in 2285 along with two Ypres-12 -class frigates. Renamed the Lesotho, the cruiser functions as the flagship of small Anzanian Space Navy. The fleet can typically be found patrolling the French Arm between the two colonies of Lubumbashi (61 Ursae Majoris) and Okavango (Kimanjano). The cruiser has two Ritage-1 missile paks and a small lander magnetically attached to the hull. The main armament was upgraded with Guiscard LL-88 at the time of purchase.

Constructed in 2272, The Nevado-class fighter is the main space fighter used by Argentina. It is a simple design that uses common commercial and surplus military components in its design. The design was upgraded in 2296 with the replacement of the composite hull with one constructed of advanced composite materials. This allowed the armor level to be drastically increased while maintaining the warp efficiency. (Treat older versions of the Nevado as having an armor level of 2 and a price of MLv13.01). The Nevado is a robust, yet ordinary fighter, with mediocre sensors and armament. While streamlined, the fighter does not carry internal fuel and must be fitted with disposable boosters when launched from planetary surfaces. A single set of boosters allows lift-off from worlds of up to 1.0G; two sets can be attached for worlds with higher gravities. The boosters may remain attached until the fighter needs to return to the planetary surface, at which time they must be detached for streamlining reasons. (With boosters attached, increase the reflective signatures by 1.)
